Brenda Grove

Brenda Grove has been a Peoria SCORE Mentor since 2021 and has been helping small businesses, through her company Enable Business Development, start and manage businesses including preparing business plans since 1996. As a SCORE Mentor, she is able to help individuals seeking information on how to start a small business, prepare a business plan, and/or engage in organizational development. Her areas of interest include helping startups, both for-profit and nonprofit businesses, that seek to solve problems and benefit others in the process. Brenda received a Bachelor of Business Administration at Nazareth College and a Master in Public Administration from Western Michigan University. She is the author of The Book on Building Nonprofits and was recently selected by the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University for the 2022 Small Business Advocate of the Year.
